December is here, and Bright Bee is already getting into the festive spirit, with a fully decorated 6ft tree, sitting pride of place in the office. We’ve already had some snow here in London, but here’s hoping for a lot more come the 25th!

In November, we achieved some fantastic exposure for clients across the mainstream, financial, and technology press. Notable pieces of coverage included AI and blockchain-based chatbot AiX, which was the focus of attention in Forbes, while Exasol received coverage in CNBC.

Last month was a particularly busy period in cybersecurity news: Uber concealed a hack that affected 57 million customers and drivers (some 2.7 million here in the UK), opting to pay hackers $100,000 (£75,000) to delete the data. In Australia, one of the nation’s biggest ever data breaches saw records of 50,000 Australian workers exposed.

Here in the UK, news broke on a data breach at the University of East Anglia and in relation to an ethical hacking program at the NHS. Commentary on these stories garnered exposure for cybersecurity training platform CybSafe in Financial News, top technology sites such as Computing and Silicon Republic, and cybersecurity news website, SC Magazine, amongst many others.

Over the course of the month, CybSafe gained further high profile coverage across the mainstream press: an interesting piece exploring the psychology of cyber security was published on websites such as Huffington Post and Yahoo. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday capturing record levels of consumer spending in the run-up to Christmas, a piece on cybersecurity tips and tricks for Black Friday was secured with Huffington Post.

If you want to be involved in securing pieces of coverage for the likes of these publications then get involved. We’d love to hear from passionate and enthusiastic people who want to join our team. Email us at [email protected]
